The Secret Adversary (Tommy and Tuppence Beresford #1)

The Secret Adversary (Tommy and Tuppence Beresford #1) - Agatha Christie I am sure I have read this one before. The library in my old school owns almost all Christie's mysteries, and there was a time where I devoured them. Only that the edition in Spanish has a different name; like "And then there were none" in Spanish is "Diez Negritos"... totally different.

Anyway, back to the review of this book. It is full of adventure, not only for our two main young characters, Miss Tuppence and Tommy, but also for Jane Finn, who has a huge role in the whole mystery. This book has kidnapping, murder, gunshots, car chase... you name it. And an important villain, Mr. Brown.

As always, Agatha Christie knows how to keep the suspense. There are actually only 2 main suspects, Jane's cousin and the lawyer. But it was fun to read (I could not decide which one of the two was the villain until the very end), and it was free.
