Nodame Cantabile, Vol. 6 - Tomoko Ninomiya The best thing about reading this manga online is that, whenever Chiaki or Nodame or the Orchestra is playing a piece I don't know about, I can google it and listen to it online. Like in this case, I was not familiar with Edward Elgar Sonata Violin and Piano Op. 82, until the scene where Chiaki plays the violin, and Nodame the piano. Every time they play together is delightful, and makes me wish to read musical books; books that are related to classical music, or about characters who play the piano/violin/cello...

The negative aspect of this volume is Chiaki. I cannot stand him; he is so cold and heartless. There are times when he is softer, but in this volume, there were none. Nodame, please, get away from him... except when you have to play a piece with him, which seriously, are the best scenes in the whole manga.
