Yakuza Moon: Memoirs of a Gangster's Daughter

Yakuza Moon: Memoirs of a Gangster's Daughter - Shoko Tendo, Louise Heal Interesting, but very depressing. Poor woman, she had a bumpy life. She went thru many things before even reach the 30-years old. Poor Shoko had all the bad things in lfe: drug-addiction, sex-addiction, physical abused, rape, eating disorder, abortion, miscarriage, death of her mother at a young age, death of her father because of cancer, lots of debts...

I was weak in my limbs every time I read the abused she had to suffer in the hands of her married-lovers. Shoko made terrible decisions, consequence of kind of absent parents. I pitied her, but she also drove me crazy with her actions.

Not so much about Yakuza life as I was hoping. More like, a yanki girl, daughter of an ex-Yakuza boss who got only into troubles.
