DNF at 82%. But to be honest, I started to scan-read from 70%.

I thought this was going to be a book about crime and a genius/smart civilian helping the law to catch the criminal. Instead, I got an annoying MC falling in love, and the crime went to a background story. I don't know what Randall was supposed to be: a naive guy or a cocky one; a kick-ass guy or a clumsy one. He is 41 years old, but as soon as he meets this 25-year-old girl, he behaves like a teenager. His love story bored me to death. He is supposed to be a master in everything Chinese, but wait, he is also a master in kicking the bad guys asses, including in Capoeira style.

Awful book, boring, I hated all characters and I wasn't hooked even in the crime thing.
