Everything Begins and Ends at the Kentucky Club - Benjamin Alire Sáenz

If we talk about plot, I would not say they were exceptionally good (not like beautiful Aristotle and Dante... anyway). But this author has such a way with words.. Most of the stories were GLBT, most of them were about absent parents or familiar issues, all of them are linked to Juarez/Kentucky Club; some were about addictions (sex, drugs) and all of them were sad. Not depressing sad, but a "nice" sad. The main characters in each story are loners.

The one that made me close to tears was "The Art of Translation", where a young Latin man was beaten-up by 3 white man. It is because of how it was narrated.
