All You Need Is Kill - Hiroshi Sakurazaka

Usually Japanese translations are very poor in my experience, but this one was very well done. I am not sure, though, if it is the translation, or the narration, but sometimes it felt like I was missing something, like I did not read something vital to the story, or I missed some pages. Time travel, Jacket, alien bugs, a bit of fanservice... things that people who like manga as well as sci-fi novels will find appealing.

It definitely has the movie element, with all the battles and reliving the same day again and again. There is a moment in the story where Keiji catches the tray at the dinning room and fights against a bully -more like, avoids the punches- that definitely inspired the Spiderman movie (the first one).
